This week the Duggars’ are having a Bachelorette/Bachelor Weekend in Arkansas. Jeremy invites a few of his friends from back home to parktake in the festivities. The men decide to try out a round of golf, none of them have much experience golfing and it shows. Jeremy decides to look the part and purchases a very extravagant golf outfit. I’m guessing this was supposed to be funny! Ben lives up to our low expectations and fails hard at golfing, I am starting to like Ben, he is reliable and consistent in keeping us entertained haha.
The women folk are back at the homestead designing jewellery to be worn on the wedding day. Each girl designs a piece of jewellery to be worn by someone else. The girls enjoy their bonding time and their mom helps out too. They all talk about how to orchestrate their first kiss as man and wife. If you didn’t know the Duggars’ choose to save their first kiss once they’re married. Jill’s first kiss was a dip, Jessa did hers in private post vows and we already saw Jinger get married so the fact we are still watching shows leading up to the wedding makes no sense. I WANT ANSWERS TLC.
The guys and girls team up by gender and try out an Escape Room. The guys were all scattered trying to beat the women and lost. The girls worked well together and seemed to have gotten more clues than the guys. The guys got to watch the girls via camera to see how they managed.
In the end both teams lost, yay!
2 Man buns in one room.. yikes
Jessa and Ben go to find out the sex of their baby, surprise they had their baby on the weekend and it was a BOY. They kick the cameras out to keep it a secret from the audience and continue with their gender tease….Jana and Joy tag along and are sworn to secrecy.
3D ultra sounds scare me
Jill and Derick, his mom Kathy and their son head up to OK State for their homecoming. Derick was once the famed mascot Pistol Pete, he gets to be in the parade with other former Pistol Petes’. Derick later gets to put on the costume and play the part, he scared the sh*t out of their son and that was the best part. Derick’s mom talks about how she and Derick’s dad attended OK State and reminisced about their time there. Derick’s dad died in his sleep of a heart attack a few years prior and his mom walks Jill through the corridor at the school where she told Derick the news. She shows them their initials written in concrete that remains there still. It was Sweet. Derick’s mom has been cancer free for 2 years and that is fantastic.
Can’t hate on this
That is all for this week! I am wondering if anyone is still staying tuned. I wonder if they will have one more season?! I suppose they can stretch out all the life events such as Joy’s courtship, Jill and Jessa’s pregnancies and who knows what else. I’m interested in seeing one of their boys’ courtships!
