Hey guys! Sorry for the long weekend off! I had actually planned to have a new recap up Saturday covering RuPaul’s Drag Race, but they don’t seem to add full episodes online yet. So now I’m trying to catch up with Teen Mom news. If you know where to get RuPaul online, please let me know! I’m dying to recap it for you guys.
Anyway, on to the news!
fans hatters infiltrate Kail Lowry’s book signing
A’ight, this one’s kind of a doozy. It appears a member of a private Teen Mom discussion group on Facebook set up a Trojan horse scenario at Kail Lowry‘s recent Hustle & Heart book signing. (You can read our review of this book here.) The woman had two shirts made for the event, one for herself and one for her mother, that read “Team Javi Puta.” The shirts also included photos of Kail from the scene a few weeks ago in which Javi questioned whether she put her children first.
Someone in the group alerted Kail and the MTV production crew that something nefarious was in the works and the whole thing was caught on camera. The two women got their photo taken with Kail like everyone else, but just as they got behind her they removed their coats to show their anti-Kail shirts. Kail was not aware until after the photo was taken. She seemed to laugh it off on Twitter later that day because the women had to buy her books in order to get the photo.
At first, Javi retweeted the photo saying the shirts were “epic.” He later deleted his response and said the following:
At the end of the day that isn't cool. That's my sons mother. We've put everything behind us to raise our son the right way 🙌🏻

Matt Baier gets his own “Being Matt” special
File this under “Gross News.” The Ashley is reporting that Matt Baier from Teen Mom OG is getting his own “Being Matt” special à la all of the grandparents on the show. The Ashley reports that two of Matt’s children, a son aged 13 and daughter aged 18, are being flown in to film with him. Word is the other cast members are not thrilled about this special focusing on such a controversial figure rather than a more “positive” person from the show.
(In my humble TM fan opinion, MTV is looking like it’s on the outs with the Teen Mom franchise. They’re missing the mark with specials and series that could really spice things up, like a new round of 16 & Pregnant followed by a Teen Mom 4 or a series of “Where They At Now?” catch-ups. It seems like MTV is trying to squeeze as much content from this show as they can while spending as little money as possible. Just my $0.02.)
More excerpts leaked from Matt Baier’s book
I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. More Matt news. I might make a separate post outlining more details if you guys like, but the parody Twitter account Amber L. Porkwood has released more chapters from Matt’s book, which I can never remember the name of, so whatever. In the latest leak, we see Matt talk about his “five” children and his drug addiction as well as his baby mamas. You can read the whole thing here on Imgur.
Matt seems to kind of contradict himself on this subject. On the one hand, Matt claims his kids were ripped from his life by their mothers so it’s not fair to judge him for not being around. On the other hand, he commends the mothers for doing the right thing because he claims he was a serious, hardcore drug addict.
Matt takes special fire at Kelli Nunn, the most outspoken baby mama who has lambasted him in the press and on her Twitter account. He claims Kelli’s daughter is not his. He also uses the fact that she has multiple baby daddies as a way to discredit her, while saying he knows he should be the last one to judge since he, too, has multiple baby mamas. So… make of it what you will. He says when he asked Kelli why she was saying all of this false stuff to the tabloids she answered, “For fun!” (Sounds legit.)
Finally, Matt unleashes on Judy Cornett, the woman who ran the child abuse charity that prompted Matt to write a book under the pseudonym Grey Baker. Curiously, though, Matt writes that he published this book under the name Gary Barker…which is not correct. Anyway, Matt claims that he flew down to visit Judy and determined her whole charity was fraudulent somehow.

Matt claims that he’s always been paid up with child support for his actual kids, but he seems to imply that any kids past the five he acknowledges are not biologically his. Because some of his kids were adopted by their step-fathers, he is off the hook financially.
Jenelle’s House is Done
Well, sort of. It appears there’s a lot left to do to The Land, including adding a driveway and landscaping, but it looks like Jenelle and Co. are officially moved in to their home.
Sophia Abraham starting a web series on MTV
Farrah Abraham’s snapchat has shown her daughter Sophia, 7, filming a web series for MTV. Not sure yet what it will be about, but it appears Sophia is showing off the Sophia Laurent Children’s Boutique as well as her miniature horse Starburst.
I think that’s it for now! Let me know if I missed anything in the comments. Either JerseyGirl or I will be getting you the recap of tonight’s reunion episode: part deux.
