Jenelle Evans announces wedding date

It looks like Jenelle + David is still a go! The Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans shared an Instagram photo today announcing a “Save the Date” for her wedding to David Eason on Saturday, September 23, 2017.

“I’m ready to make my life forever with you,” Jenelle captioned the photo. I’m pretty sure this is the very first time she’s said something like this!

The Ashley is reporting that the wedding will, as we all guessed, take place on The Land. However, Jenelle said she would not be inviting her co-stars, unlike previous MTV-filmed weddings like Catelynn Baltierra’s and Maci McKinney’s. She also is not currently inviting her mother, Barbara.

This has left fans to wonder who will exactly be invited to the wedding? Breakup BFF Tori? Babysitter Jaime? David’s sister, with whom she’s had a wildly public feud? The wild birds in the trees?

We do hear word that the wedding will be filmed by MTV. (Hey, can’t pass up free wedding videography!)

Quick note: I’ve seen buzz around social media that Jenelle could not possibly plan a wedding in three-ish months. This is a Save the Date, which is supposed to be sent to actual invitees six to eight months before a wedding so people have time to plan off work, book flights/hotels, etc. Jenelle likely started planning this wedding soon after she and David got engaged back in February. She just made this photo post for…social media points?

Let us know your expectations from this wedding! Will it be lace and burlap? Will there be games of cornhole under faerie lights? Will they shoot wild turkey after the ceremony?

This would be a great pic if it wasn’t with.. Him. Yuk.

  2. Baby Daddy #3 says:

How can Barbara not be invited when she’ll know the date and location due to social media?

I mean, she could show up anyway if she wants to… but also, sounds like some grade A coparenting with Jace’s guardian right there…

    I hope they’re happy. I honestly do.

Still feel like Babs should be invited so hopefully they can all get along.

Anyone else notice the weird photoshop of Jenelle’s legs behind the fence? The knees don’t line up. Strange.

  5. Hairstyles of the Rich & Alnost Fanous says:

I just keep thinking how uncomfortable it would be to stand on wood barefoot and hold that pose. Also, why aren’t they both wearing shoes or both barefoot?

  6. Leah's Meth Pipe says:

Why couldn’t she have worn a sweet dress or something? Like a long one that covered her bare feet? I sat side saddle on the fence so it looked a little bit more classier?
Good luck Jenelley and Chipmunk cheeks.

With Jelly being such a proclaimed beach bunny, I always thought she’d have a beach wedding not a rustic forest one. Interesting change I guess since that’s what’s popular right now. Maybe that’s with the next soul mate….

And not including Barb is such a 16 year old thing to do not the grow up woman she claims to to be. The post mentioning this as great example of coparenting is right on point.

Hi EL! Thank you for the posts. I’m having a problem seeing everything b/c there is always an ad that covers the first part of the 2nd paragraph. Is it something on my end that I need to take care of?

    • El-ahrairah says:

Nope, not on your end! That’s our fault. I usually remember to add extra spaces to account for the ad doing that, but sometimes I forget. I will double check it and make sure the new writers remember to, too! Thanks for the tip! EDIT: Let me know if this article is still doing that. It looks fine on my end now, but it may be looking different on your device! 🙂

  9. Tyler's Great American Novel says:

To be fair (and, god, I hate defending Jenelle), I planned my wedding in a similar timeframe. If she’s keeping it small and the venue doesn’t need to be booked because it’s their own land, it’s possible.

We got engaged in May and we’re getting married September 1st. I’ve had everything booked (photographer, caterer, my dress, honeymoon, guest list, hair) and ready in about a month and a half. We’re just doing a courthouse followed by an immediate family dinner on my fiance’s summer home’s deck with about 15 people which kind of sounds similar to what she’s probably planning.
