Maci Bookout McKinney announces new book

Another day, another Teen Mom book. Sigh. Well, this time it’s Maci’s turn to do her second memoir. She announced her new book today on social media, saying it is now available for pre-order. The sequel memoir is entitled “I Wasn’t Born Bulletproof,” a play on her first book’s title (“Bulletproof” ) and her shoulder tattoo.

“This book is a funny & insightful guide to everything I have experienced and learned,” writes Maci, who is now a mother of three children. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been dying to learn Maci’s guidance on everything she’s experienced and learned since her first book was put out two years ago.

Maci’s Bulletproof Tattoo

I just can’t wait to get my hands on this new Teen Mom book so I can recap it for you guys, but first I have to finish this memoir called “In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom from a teenaged North Korean defector named Park Yeon-mi. While you’re waiting for Matt Baier, Jenelle Evans, and Maci Bookout to release their harrowing and utterly inspiring memoirs, you can read about Yeon-mi here.

Also, here is Maci’s book cover for commentator criticism:

  1. Williejonesjr says:

Yikes. Well, I’ll be looking forward to the recap.

And, El-Ahrairah, how can I reach you about a favor?
    Thanks ahead of time.

  2. Grace says:

It would be an ok book cover if she wasn’t doing that weird smirk with her mouth. It’s all I can stare at..

  3. rosie says:

Are you liking it? The book you are reading? I saw it at amazon and consider buying it.

  4. This paper towel's got more than you says:

This book seems really pointless, even by TM book standards. 2 years after the first, and for “advice” purposes. No one should be taking any advice from anyone on this show, even if they do seem to be the most functional in a dysfunctional group. WTF at the book cover. Awful, awful picture of her, and wtf at the bright light behind her and her wearing a plain black tshirt for a cover.

  5. Trailer Trash Train Wreck says:

Good for her! She needs to start trying to collect more money before the MTV cash cow dries up!

  6. IJR says:

This girls are so high up on their horses! I can’t believe they think the world can’t go two years without their “advice.” They are trainwrecks, it’s why we enjoy watching them! Her arrogance is sickening.

  7. Butch mullet says:

Lessons I’ve learned : PCOS isn’t a valid reason not to get pregnant xD

  8. Trailer Trash Train Wreck says:

I want to know what she thinks she learned in these past few years.

  9. Nikki says:

That face is ridiculous. And while I love tattoos myself and have several, is that a real tattoo of a hot air balloon on her arm??? She’s going to be the colorful version of Kailyn! And nope we don’t want your advice Maci!

  10. Leah's Lahw-yur says:

Life Lesson number one, as told by Maci Bookout McKinney: “Get yourselves a reality show, ya’ll!! You’ll never have to get a job, you can drink beer all day long, and people will give you a ton of free stuff, plus you get to take vacations all the time; you’ll be soooooo popular! I have so many more friends now than I did before I was on TV and had money. Seriously, I’m telling ya, Reality. Show.”

What gems she will fill the rest of the book with, I don’t know but really…after the reality show, everything else just kind of takes care of itself anyway.

  11. Trailer Trash Train Wreck says:

She’s probably smirking because she’s thinking she is smart enough to con her fans to buy another one of her books.

  12. nobabydaddies says:

I hadn’t noticed the smirk until I read the comments and now it’s all I can see. That and the unflattering black t-shirt. What’s up with that?

  13. chelseas annoying baby voice says:

What does she possibly have to write about that she hasn’t already?

I hate that the girls are still trying squeeze every little bit of MTV fame/money left…

  14. Wilfred says:

It’s best to participate in a contest for among the best blogs on the web. I’ll suggest this web site!

  15. Hello there. I recently noticed your site and I certainly love it. I also want to discuss aptoide installer at times. Good to be around, thank you!
