Teen Mom OG | Tierra Reign Launched Today (Kind Of) [UPDATED]

Oh, boy. I hope none of our readers were hoping to browse the accoutrements on Tierra Reign today, because it is not happening.

Last season, we watched Catelynn & Tyler Baltierra discuss interrupt each other about opening Tierra Reign, their online children’s boutique, which confusedly boasts the tagline “Reign Over Your Dreams”.

Personally, I don’t like kids’ clothing stores being bossy and telling me what to do with my dreams, but I have to admit, the sneak previews of their clothing line have been genuinely unique & sometimes adorable.

Plus, it is refreshing to see the Michiganders design their own material & give their business to local sewing factory, Detroit Sewn.

After hearing & reading about Tierra Reign for months, both on the show & on social media, fans were getting pumped for launch today at noon. The store’s Twitter account was literally counting down to it.

Then at 12:00PM, the website went up!

Then at 12:21PM, the website went down.

And according to the store’s Instagram, it might not be up again for a couple of days.

Whoever handles the social media for the store did their damnedest to spin this failed launch into a positive, and asserted at every turn that the crash occurred due to such high traffic. Last night we saw Catelynn & Tyler speaking with interrupting Dr. Drew on the reunion, and it’s hardly a stretch to wonder if they launched the store immediately after receiving that airtime in the hopes that it would gain their website some traffic. It’s a good strategy, but one which only tends to work if the website is capable of actually handling that traffic. Bummer.

In the meantime, it looks like curious fans & potential customers will be greeted with a WordPress welcome screen when visiting tierrareign.com. Hardly as cute as sassy toddler models.

Ladies.

We will keep you posted when Tierra Reign is up & running again!

UPDATE: The website is up as of this morning at 9:21AM! According to the Tierra Reign Instagram though, orders can be placed, but not yet processed, so potential buyers may have to wait awhile to receive their orders.

A warning for English/grammar sticklers: do yourself a favor & skip reading the “About Us” paragraph on the homepage. It hurts.

All those hardworking design students who went to school and hope to slave away for some famous designer must just die when they see someone that can start a children’s line because they had a baby when they were a teenager. I like run on sentence when I’m annoyed.

Why are all the models looking like they are trying to escape from Baby Jail?

Because they’re all being watched by Butch.

Because they probably were trying to escape from this! Imagine who was there! April? Butch? Tys trashy sister? Cates long time big girl friend who smokes like a chimney? Dawn the baby snatcher?
These “models” were given no chance to run!

This colection looks like… it was designed by someome who is clearly not a designer. Stop it guys you are not designers, nor therapists, nor writers. At least are not overpricedly ratty t shirts, but still..

So are all these teen mom “clothing lines” just already made companies/clothes that they get paid to slap their names onto to sell?? I just wonder why anyone would want to associate their name with messy Tyler and Catelynn ?

Tierra Reign, to their credit, is a bit different. Tyler ‘designed’ them with pen and paper then found a Michigan-based seamstress/Etsy store owner who actually hand-makes them.
